The spot is spot‑on, right next to the University of Michigan, and the hotel covers all the basics. They run a shuttle to campus and there are several restaurants and convenience shops within walking distance. The breakfast, however, could use improvement; the hot dishes were lacking.

The location is fine. The air freshener’s scent was too strong, especially in the stairwell and on the first floor.

Breakfast has 1 gluten free option so it was difficult for me to enjoy it. The room was comfortable but I would have prefered to be on the other side of the building so that I wouldn't hear the highway as much when sleeping. Overall, it's a get what you pay for and good enough. I would stay here again. Breakfast was not gluten free friendly at all. Everything was focused on bread, bagels and danishes and very SUGARY yogurt. Only protien was hard boiled eggs
