The room was tidy and the self‑serve breakfast was good and sufficient. The hostel was quiet. The kitchen available to guests was dirty—dirty microwaves, a dirty sink basin, and it smelled like garbage (trash not emptied). The sauna slot for guests from 21:00‑22:00 turned out to be a mixed sauna. We had to leave the door when we realized there was only one washroom and sauna, and the men had already taken the sauna. This could have been solved easily by scheduling separate men's and women's slots, but the hostel apparently doesn’t see separate slots as necessary, because when I gave feedback I was told that there hadn’t been many complaints about the mixed sauna. Now there’s one more complaint, so maybe they could change the policy. Or selling private slots is such a good business that they don’t feel the need to give everyone access to the sauna.

Breakfast was good. The location was pleasant, in the middle of a forest, a quiet spot and a reasonable walking distance from Toijala town centre.

The price‑to‑quality ratio was spot on, and the service was genuinely friendly; I even had extra time to enjoy the sauna and pool area.

The room was roomy and spotless, and the beds were very comfortable, with the quietness of the rooms being a pleasant surprise; breakfast was simple but everything was fresh and tasty. The hallways, however, felt dark and uninviting, the sofas were worn, some bathrooms were in need of an upgrade, the sauna benches were partially falling apart, and the windows required a thorough cleaning—adding a few extra touches to the common area and bathrooms would make a big difference.
