The hotel’s design. Nothing else.
“Lovely hotel in Central Pienza”
A beautiful place, great food, and really friendly, helpful staff. Loved it. Nothing to add.
“Rien ne justifie ce prix dans la région”
The design feels nice but a bit dated, and the price‑quality ratio, the view, and the breakfast leave something to be desired.
“Wonderful chic design boutique hotel in the heart of one of Tuscany's most beautiful villages”
Living in Florence, we had a gorgeous day and the kids were with friends, so we booked a last‑minute countryside escape. I was nervous about staying at La Bandita because it’s a Marriott and I didn’t want a corporate feel in the middle of Tuscany, but it was anything but that. It still feels like a private place run by a cool American in the music business and his partner, with a minimalist chic vibe, excellent staff, a trendy restaurant, a lovely little garden and a chill lounge on the first floor. The room was spacious and simple yet stunning, with a big bathroom, great tea/coffee/drinks, a smart TV, strong Wi‑Fi, and design magazines. I’ll definitely return. The only thing that would push it to a 10/10 for me is an exercise room, but I understand that space is limited in small townhouses in ancient Tuscan villages.
“Immersion à Pienza”
The spot is the place to be in Pienza, though I think the modern vibe is a bit out of sync with the town.
