“The hotel is located in a small alcove off Place Chateaubriand. A quiet and comfortable hotel .”

The hotel’s spot is great, and the breakfast staff were kind and helpful. I booked two rooms: mine was okay except for a few things like the reading lamps and a dead power socket. The room felt a bit worn and could use an update. My companion’s room, 201, was poor—no hanging closet, a broken hair dryer, and she even mentioned midges on the bed. The staff handled it well, swapping her into a newer room, which she liked more.

“Historical and more exclusive hotel next to the old city walls”

The old, historic building sits right in the heart of the old port and the downstairs restaurants are beautiful. We got an extra big, comfy bed and could park for a lower price. It would be nice if all the reception staff could speak clear, communicative English.

“We only stayed a night and wish we did more to make use of the great location.”

The sunrise view from the window was amazing, and the hotel’s location inside the city walls was incredibly convenient. We arrived past midnight without any hassle, which was a lifesaver, and breakfast was also great.
