La Herradura lodge

I’ll start this review by saying there are not enough words to describe this wonderful place and the incredibly special people who run it. We can only thank Edwin, his family, his team and especially ANDRÉS for the affection and meticulous attention to detail. The place feels like a paradise on earth; all the fruits and vegetables they offer are organic, grown by themselves without any pesticides. Every meal is delicious, but the breakfast they serve is the local specialty and absolutely amazing—one of my favorites! The animals on the farm are well cared for and you’re allowed to interact with them fully. The farm staff are attentive and fully committed to making you feel like family and at home. Highly RECOMMENDABLE, this site deserves an 11 out of 10!

“Great place and excelent service.”

I loved the place overall, the rooms were kept very well and the gardens were beautiful. The only downside was that payment methods didn’t accept credit cards or invoices.

The team’s service was great, the rooms were comfortable, the silence was perfect, the chapel was nice, and the food was good; everything was very well organized and we felt very comfortable and at ease.

Without a doubt, this was the best place we stayed in Colombia during our whole trip; the location was absolutely amazing—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. In the morning I walked and saw many colorful birds, it was truly magical. The owner went above and beyond with hospitality, arranging a chocolate experience for us the next day at no extra cost… And the food… THE BEST! Absolutely exceptional—delicious, organic, beautifully presented, really THE BEST. The room was amazing too, filled with flowers and thoughtful little details that made our stay even more special. And the fire in the evening? The cherry on top. 🔥 I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one truly deserved it. A very special place that made our trip unforgettable. The only thing we regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

“paz y naturaleza”

The peace the site conveys is incredible; the fauna and flora are worth enjoying, just sit down for a coffee and enjoy the many bird species you’ll see pass by. If they can offer a nighttime amphibian spotting tour, I recommend it 100%.
