A paradise in the jungle with hot springs, a place to relax, disconnect from daily routine and reconnect with nature. Worth a 10‑star chef who prepares typical Honduran food from his own garden and fresh juices straight from the tree. Fireflies at night, animals and hills surrounding us… as I said at the start, a paradise.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Hilamito Lodge. Tucked away off the beaten path, the drive there is beautiful, and the views at the lodge itself are stunning, surrounded by lush nature. The cabins are cozy and very beautiful; the bed was especially soft and comfortable, we had such a great sleep! My boyfriend had a great time doing the canopy, and the hot spring pool was perfect for relaxing. Octavio welcomed us warmly, made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived, and even offered us an exotic fruit we had never tried, as well as complimentary water and cheesecake. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back; I highly recommend Hilamito Lodge to anyone looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy nature

The place is quiet and the cabins feel independent. Because the area is spacious, you can do a lot of activities like hiking, horseback riding, and swimming in various pools. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature is priceless.

The houses were truly one‑of‑a‑kind and the setting was calm and isolated. The hotel sits far from any roads or shops, and when we arrived there wasn’t even bottled water for sale. Food options were sparse, even though the website advertised a restaurant on site. The pool was frequently closed, and when we upgraded to free breakfast through our booking we were served only a single egg and some cheese on a plate instead of the typical Honduran breakfast. The shower water was also very cold, especially considering the place has hot springs running through it.
