I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's picturesque location overlooking the lake, offering breathtaking views of the morning sunrise. However, the abundance of flies throughout the property was a major drawback, likely due to the nearby farmer's use of natural manure to fertilize their crops.

Compared to other accommodations in the region, this one stood out as one of the nicer options, with an excellent breakfast spread, including a fantastic buffet on one of the mornings. Unfortunately, the rooms were prone to feeling muggy and stuffy, and the location made it difficult to venture out for meals, with the on-site restaurant being quite pricey. The area was perfect for tackling the Mt. Batur trek, but overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here again.

I was impressed by the hotel's location, but my stay was marred by the lack of transportation options, which made it difficult to leave or return to the hotel. Those who did not have a car were charged an exorbitant fee, which was a significant drawback.

In my opinion, the hotel's quality and price were unbeatable. We ended up eating at the resort's restaurant because there were no other options nearby, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. They even opened the restaurant 10 minutes early just for us. The food was delicious and local, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were so impressed that we asked if there were any available rooms, and they showed us two without any issues.
