“Not very clean”
The staff were really friendly and helpful, but the rooms were extremely old, outdated, and not very clean.

The rooms were surprisingly quiet and spacious, yet there was no live cable television and the swimming pool was closed due to construction.

I saw horrible ants and a roach, but there was nothing else to note.

The property sits right in the heart of the resort area in Waikiki. However, it is old and dated and needs a complete refresh; the general decor is 30 years old and the rooms, while fine and clean, require some reworking—for instance, you can’t close the cabinet door where the fridge is unless you physically lift the fridge out of the way. More importantly, the resort needs security in the basement parking area. While parking on multiple different occasions I saw what looked to be an escort/prostitute pickup and dropoff of the same young woman in various states of undress and general dishevelment; she quickly rushed to the elevator and the driver kept the car running and stayed in the basement (no parking permit). This happened 3 days in a row at various times of day.
