We stayed at the lodge, the building outside the castle that still gives you access to the castle facilities; the room was huge, very comfortable, with every amenity you could ask for and very clean, still decorated with a castle motif, and only a short walk to the castle and all its amenities. The staff were really nice and friendly, and there was nothing to complain about.

The country location outside Tralee was great, with a fabulous sitting room and dining rooms, but we didn’t meet many Irish people.

Breakfast was phenomenal - spoilt for choice. Beautiful surrounds and hotel. Comfy beds!
