“A grand historic country estate in Deloraine that didn't quite hit the brief”
The spot is gorgeous – the house and its gardens give you a real visual treat. The owner and groundskeeper were super friendly. What I missed was a common area inside the estate where guests could hang out, grab a drink, or just soak in the grandeur. The breakfast that came with the room left a bit to be desired.

The location works well and the breakfast is decent. The cooked portion felt a bit thin, but the place’s unique vibe made up for it.

The house is great and the gardens are beautiful. I wasn’t a fan of the black room, even though it’s pretty regal, so I switched to the champagne room and that worked out fine.
