It has an onsen and the beach is close by. The tatami rooms are authentic. The proprietor is very old and only speaks Japanese, so communication is somewhat difficult. The place hasn’t been renovated in the past 50 years. There are no locks on the door.

We left and didn’t stay the night; we will be asking for a refund. The room had no lock, the whole place was run down and cold, and the inn keeper asked us to pay for a towel.

I had no positives at all. The place is more suited for student camps and worse than a guesthouse. There’s no AC, no security, no Wi‑Fi in the room, no fridge, and you have to lay your own futon. Paying just under 30,000 yen for a bare‑bones stay for two people is far too expensive.
