My first trip to Jaipur led me to this hotel, chosen for its location and good reviews ahead of the Amber Fort tour, and it turned out to be spot‑on. The property matched the photos perfectly—spotlessly clean and stylish. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, leaving me completely satisfied. Every staff member was friendly and attentive, which made me feel safe and comfortable. The large windows opened onto a lush, natural setting that felt very refreshing. I was especially impressed by the hand‑woven towels in the room; they were soft, super absorbent and felt wonderful on the skin. Since the same towels were sold in the hotel shop, I bought three without hesitation. I never found anything comparable elsewhere in India, so I’m glad I purchased them then. The shop also stocked many other lovely items, so I’d definitely recommend taking a look.

Even by Japanese standards the place was spotless, the water safe, the rooms and boutique chic, the staff kind, and the chef’s food outstanding—especially the chocolate and lemon cakes after dinner. The rooftop offered a great view of the illuminated Amber Fort. I’d read online that a Japanese owner ran the hotel and was skeptical, but I happened to meet the owner, Ishibuki‑san, that day and got to say hello, which was amusing. The only downside is that it sits a bit away from Jaipur airport and the city centre, making it better suited for travelers who prefer a quiet, relaxed pace rather than cramming in tours.

The rooms are beautiful and the location is lovely, away from the city. Surendra is the best chef, the food is superb, and he’s very kind. The only downside is the abundance of light switches.

The staff are lovely, friendly, and attentive, and the setting is beautiful. It’s more relaxed than central Jaipur and very close to historic sights such as Amber Palace, Jaigarh Fort, and Nahargarh Fort, making it a nice, laid‑back base to see those places. There’s very little to complain about.
