The location was gorgeous, with a stunning view of the Beaujolais from the terrace and a breathtaking sunset. The chateau itself was charming, full of character and tradition. The hosts were very warm and made me feel welcome; I was the sole guest that night and their company was delightful. Breakfast was excellent—figs, grapes from the garden, and homemade jam. The bedroom was lovely with a huge bed, and I slept very well. I’d stay again. The only thing that happened was a few mosquito bites—just a reminder to apply repellent.

Everything was absolutely first class—from the welcome, the beautiful room, the stunning gardens and view, to the breakfast. Faultless. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Nothing to add.

The place and the hosts/owners. We sat and enjoyed a glass of wine with owners late into the evening. Amazing breakfast. Amazing place, such a great stopover on our way to the Med
