We chose a spot right near the border, and the beds were comfy with clean sheets and towels. The rooms were roomy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There’s a restaurant inside the motel, and when we arrived late they let us take the food to our room because they were about to close. The only downside was that there was no bank terminal.

The staff were the only thing that tried to smooth things over. There were no mosquito nets on the windows, the grey towels were impossible to wash, the door to the room wouldn’t open fully and was warped, the curtains were torn, the air conditioner didn’t work, the street noise was terrible, and the window couldn’t be closed because of the heat.

The staff were very warm and responsive. The room was clean, warm, and cozy. The location was excellent, close to the borders.

Nothing pleased me. It was a horrible old motel with old air‑conditioners that were scary to turn on, a single window that faced the road and wouldn’t open at all, no mosquito nets, and mosquitoes bit me all night.
