“Conveniently located low cost hostel with a slight lack of privacy”
The hostel sits just a short walk from Hiroshima Peace Park and a tram stop that links to both Hiroshima Station and Miyajima, with another line to Yokogawa Station nearby. It’s a tiny place that feels familiar, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and gave solid recommendations. On the downside, my bed’s curtain was the wrong size, so it fell with every breeze and left my feet exposed; even when it stayed up, there were wide gaps on both sides letting anyone peek in. Hostels usually lack privacy, but this felt especially intrusive and cramped. The showers had poor ventilation, trapping humidity so you couldn’t dry off, and there was a hole in the toilet door.
