A family that goes out of their way to make your stay unforgettable, always ready with homemade meals at lunch and dinner if you ask. They helped plan local activities and even picked us up from the station in a TukTuk, dropping us off wherever we wanted to go.

It was a truly nice stay. The host and his family were very kind and helped with everything. We did many great tours. The host drove us around in a TukTuk wherever we wanted, and the food at the accommodation was super 👍🏼

I had such a lovely stay here. The family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they really helped make my time in Habarana special. The room was comfortable, and the guesthouse was a peaceful place to stay while exploring the area. One of the best parts was the food. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, homemade and different each day, so I got to try a really nice variety of Sri Lankan dishes during my stay. They also arranged everything for my visits from picking me up at the train station, to Pidurangala, Sigiriya and the elephant safari, which made exploring the area so easy. As a solo traveller, it was especially nice not having to figure out all the transport and logistics myself. The whole experience felt very personal and genuine. I’m really grateful for how well they looked after me and would happily recommend staying here, especially if you’re travelling solo and want a friendly base for exploring Habarana and the surrounding area
