The owner was incredibly thoughtful, arranging a scooter rental and a barbecue dinner for us. The cottage offered a tranquil setting with a beautiful view, and you could see huge fruit bats flying just meters above the room.

The bungalow had a nice view, but the location felt far from everything; you can get around by scooter, yet you need one for almost everything, especially since the hotel’s restaurant was the only nearby eatery. The staff spoke no English at all. The air‑conditioning failed, so we had to switch rooms. The bay window was broken—the lock was detached from the wall, which was really odd. The ceiling had some sagging spots. The staff were lazy, and the memo about the cold shower was disappointing. Overall, it was a poor value for money.

I requested a cottage that didn't require climbing stairs because of my injured leg, and the staff helped me get close to the reception. The view was nice. However, for someone like me, the staircase was a real challenge and could easily cause a fall. The room lacked international plug sockets, making it hard to charge my phone, so guests with such needs should bring their own adapters.

The views were excellent, and the room’s window offered a spectacular panorama. The location was poor, with nothing nearby; what’s just below isn’t a beach. The food was acceptable but very limited. The garden or common areas only had two tables at the entrance for eating. There was no relaxation zone or space just to be, and no drinks, snacks, or entertainment options.

Nothing good. This place is one of the worst I've ever stayed at. We booked a room for one night, but it was completely different from the photos: dirty, stinky, awful. We asked for a taxi, but the staff couldn’t communicate; nobody spoke a word of English or even understood the word “taxi.” After half an hour of struggling to get our message across, someone finally arrived to take us to Iboih—about 5 km away, as if we’d asked to be taken to the moon. Don’t go here, especially if the photos make you expect a “western”‑style property or if you plan to tour the island, because you’ll be far from everything.
