A beautiful yurt in a very private spot overlooking fields, comfortable and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway; the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we highly recommend trying local food from their menu—delicious produce! The night sky is stunning and walks through the farm are gorgeous.

A peaceful, secluded spot with great views, a lovely signed walk around it, super dog-friendly and relaxed; the yurt is beautiful and comes with a private toilet and shower.

The place was amazing – the views were spectacular, and we could see the Milky Way with our own eyes because it’s in a dark sky area. Even on the second day when the weather wasn’t great, staying in the yurt, reading, and having a fire was idyllic. I’ve already told friends about it and plan to come back if we can. The only small gripe is that a towel‑drying spot would be handy.

This holiday was fantastic for a granny and her seven‑year‑old grandchild; there was so much to see and do around the farm, the hosts were so pleasant, and the yurt was beautiful. We left feeling completely renewed.

Everything was covered here – they had already thought of anything you might need, the owners were very friendly, and the location was great, especially passing through the sheep to get to the accommodation, which was a bonus. We’ll definitely stay at Kites Rest again; we absolutely loved it. We didn’t dislike anything at all.
