Fernside is the most beautiful accommodation we’ve had in England. The welcome from Linda and Ian is warm, without excess, with class and delicate attentions. We were lucky to be among those who stayed in this dream cottage, in preserved nature, close to horses peacefully grazing nearby. An idyllic décor, charming and attentive hosts, all the essentials to enjoy the charms of a beautiful country where we’ll return soon. Bravo Fernside! The only negative is that, given everything we appreciated, it’s logical that nothing disappointed us at Fernside.

The most superb cottage and location you can imagine. The room was lovely with everything you could possibly want. The bathroom was large with excellent facilities. The breakfast menu was amazing and the owners were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. An absolute top drawer bed and breakfast place with all you could possibly require. Brilliant. There was absolutely nothing we did not like about all aspects of the property and location

Lynda and Ian are fantastic. We were greeted at the door upon arrival and welcomed to Fernside. Nothing was troublesome for this great team. Surrounded by farmland and animals, it’s a great place to relax and unwind whether you’re traveling or staying long. The home is spotless and offers a great view overlooking the hills.

A truly wonderful B&B in every way, spotlessly clean, hosts Linda and Ian were very nice and friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. The property itself is lovely and picturesque, so I’d highly recommend staying at Fernside. Many thanks to Linda & Ian, and I hope to return.
