The hotel was filthy – I found a pee in the toilet and a razor in the shower. It was not clean at all, the value for money was awful, and they didn’t tell me about the construction work until I arrived.

Everything was under construction, which wasn’t mentioned on Booking, and the equipment was very low‑grade – total disappointment. The man at the reception had already invoiced me when I had asked to pay on arrival, which I thought was completely unacceptable.

Breakfast was varied and very good, and I liked being able to make waffles. The coffee, however, tasted like soap. The staff didn’t give clear instructions, seemed a bit unfriendly, and I felt like I was bothering them. The carpet in the rooms was also an issue.

The location is great, close to everything. There’s a wide selection for breakfast and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, there were hair and hair‑like strands in the back of the shower and on the walls. It was odd to see a microwave and a bunch of paint pots in the stairwell on the way to the second‑floor room. If you’re traveling with young kids or babies, ask for a first‑floor room because there’s no elevator – it’ll save you headaches and back pain. They do lend baby beds for free, but it’s not guaranteed you’ll get one during your stay.
