The value for money is spot on, but there is no elevator.

The mattress is soft and clean, and the location is convenient right by the sea.

The room is private and breakfast is good, but the old room has a toothbrush with a piece of soft stone, the tiles are almost falling and could almost hit your foot, the door is misaligned and hard to open and close, making a loud noise, the wire cage is poor and cannot be closed, and the parking is chaotic and disorganized.

We were a bit confused after booking because the hotel called “N.P. Place” wasn’t known by Google or local taxi drivers in Cha‑am; a key tip for getting there is to look for “Niphon Resort” on Google Maps – once there the hotel is marked as a large N.P. Place. • Location: Great! The hotel sits in the quiet part of Cha‑am Beach, perfect for those seeking relaxation (though it can be a bit livelier on weekends). • Service: The reception was very courteous and the night security man was extremely friendly. • Atmosphere: Especially in the mornings and evenings, you hear many birds, which we really liked. • Cleanliness: Even though the room (1st floor, garden view) looks like it’s from the early 80s, everything was very clean and functional. The old fridge looked yellowish but cooled well. Areas for improvement: The rooms are very old; a renovation would greatly enhance the hotel. Smell: The hallway and room had a somewhat harsh scent, probably from cleaning products. • Breakfast: Solid standard (soup or western option with egg, toast, ham). However, you eat in a restaurant with a nice sea view. Bottom line: If you’re looking for an affordable, clean hotel in a good location and don’t expect modern luxury, this is the place.

It’s okay, but we had to change rooms twice before it finally fit.
