“Great hotel - good food, comfortable rooms.”

I liked how clean, warm and quiet the room was. I liked how the reception staff on arrival and the bar staff who helped with the evening meal options were friendly and approachable. Great evening meal options for those with food allergies - clear labelling of allergens on menus. I did not like that the breakfast options for guests with food allergies were limited, that alternative continental buffet breakfast items were apparently unavailable/lacking, but this may have been due to the lack of knowledge of one young member of staff

“Would never stay there again nor recommend this hotel to anyone. Bad taste all over.”

The room was noisy from the side and above. Wifi didn’t work in the room – I had to sit near the reception desk. The staff lied about room availability when we asked to move; we were told only the room next door was available, then when it was filled we were told we couldn’t get a refund for the second room we cancelled because the hotel wasn’t full. Different staff said different things. Poor communication and rude staff when I called many times to ask about our refund for the cancelled room. The bathroom was dirty.

The location was great and the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was lovely. I could hear movement in the rooms above, which was a bit annoying.
