Breakfast was delicious and plenty. The host was very friendly, took care of us, and gave us tips for excursions. The bathroom was very small.

Breakfast was good with plenty of options, the staff was nice, check‑in was simple, and the location was quiet. The shared bathroom is not on the same floor as the bedrooms; parking outside the property was only partially available, but there were enough spaces a few minutes’ walk away.

Breakfast every morning was very pleasant, but I didn’t like that the bathroom wasn’t in the room I stayed in; it was on the main floor and shared with another group in a different room.

“Great BnB and great location.”

I spent one night at Casa Areal because I wanted to be close to the beach, and the location turned out to be closer than I expected! The property is well organized with clear communication and instructions. Everything was spotless and matched the photos. The staff and owners were very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re exploring the north coast of São Miguel and want an affordable option within walking distance of the beach.
