A 7‑minute walk takes you to My An Beach, the staff are nice, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bed is comfy, and breakfast is good. The only downside is that the shower lacks a glass partition from the toilet.

The location is a mixed bag: on one hand you’re right in the middle, just 200 m from a gorgeous beach with crystal water and everything you could want; on the other hand you have to be prepared to lug your suitcase 2.5 km to the hotel, and because the spot is so central streets are often closed for festivals and taxis won’t get through. We also found ants in the bed, and breakfast was limited to a single portion and a drink you chose the night before—typically one coffee and one omelette.

The location was convenient and the beach was excellent, but I was shocked to discover a room without a window—something I’d never encountered before. The ventilation was loud, making sleep impossible; when it was off I felt suffocated, when on the air‑conditioner blew directly on me, and when off I risked catching a cold. It was my first time in Da Nang, I booked for three nights and then switched hotels, feeling that the price could have bought a better place. The room was clean and the staff were great, and the restaurant on the second floor was decent, though it had an unpleasant odor.

Overall, the only good thing was the breakfast. The room was small, the bathroom was tiny, and the cleaning was not sufficient.
