The breakfast was very good – it used to be pretty simple in Italy, but this was a hearty hotel breakfast with everything. The internet connection was also very good, though there were so many channels that it was a bit hard to find English ones, but we figured it out.

The online reception worked. The toilet didn’t flush properly, the room had a smell, and the buffet was late (breakfast started at 7:30, the warm buffet was ready at 7:45).

All the sights were easily reachable on foot, fast. The metro and bus stop are 5 minutes from the hotel. It’s on a quiet street. Nearby there are many restaurants, a park, a pastry shop, and a pharmacy. When showering, hot water takes about 5 minutes to arrive and then gradually cools, so you have to rush. The wifi often lags.

The hotel’s main selling point is its location—just a 15‑minute walk from the Vatican City and a 30‑minute stroll to the Trevi Fountain, with the metro easily reachable. The rooftop is nice, offering a great city view. Overall, the value for money is disappointing: the bed is uncomfortable, shower gel comes in tiny sachets, and breakfast options are limited in a cramped room.

They gave us a different room because the one we had booked wasn’t clean and certainly not comfortable, nothing like the photos showed. After a short stay, they swapped it for us.
