The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I liked the slightly retro vibe. It was clear a lot of cleaning and repairs had been done, yet the place still felt like it was from the 1960s.

The owner and her tiny dog were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay exactly what we wanted after a long drive; we enjoyed relaxing outside in a charming little garden, and the motel itself was basic, safe, and clean—nothing to complain about for the price, plus supporting an independent business was a bonus.

The staff were great. I’m not a fan of carpeting in hotel rooms, and I couldn’t deadbolt the door from the outside, which made me feel my belongings weren’t as secure as they could have been.
