The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast was great and there was plenty of parking nearby. However, we had a couple of maintenance issues, one of which let us hear the road’s sounds loudly.
The minimalist décor, the breakfast room with sea view, and the room with a garden exit let us enjoy coffee, tea, water, iced tea, and cake all day long. Gluten‑free pastries were offered for breakfast. The water pipes weren’t insulated, so we were woken by the neighbors’ showers. The lounge chairs on the terrace were broken. The air‑conditioner turns off at night, making the room stuffy. Breakfast is served, but you can’t choose freely. The coffee wasn’t the best.
Wonderful staff of two at the hotel. A great BnB‑style experience. Very friendly and helpful with tips about navigating São Miguel and the surrounding hikes.
Breakfast was excellent, the staff was very accommodating, and afternoon cake and tea were a nice bonus.

It felt like we had gone away and stayed with family! The warmth of the welcome, the ease with which we settled in, and the love and attention of Jessica and Annabella were truly beautiful.
