I was happy with the location, but the front desk made me wait outside for 30 minutes while they called their boss to confirm my booking, asking odd questions like “did someone send you here” even though I showed the confirmation email. They seemed clueless about the situation.

The bed was comfy, the rooms and toilets were clean, and the staff were very accommodating, yet I couldn’t watch a movie because the Wi‑Fi was painfully slow, there was no braai area, no secure parking, no laundry lines, I spotted cockroaches and a mouse in the kitchen, and the shower was so cramped that standing straight was nearly impossible.

The rooms did not match what the booking app displayed; the water cut off after each bath, and the shared kitchen with the helpers was dirty and smelled awful.
