“A joy to stay there.”
Breakfast and dinner were lovely; I couldn't find any faults. The location is away from the main road, making it quiet and peaceful.

The breakfast was substantial and exactly what we needed for a robust day of trekking.

The location is perfect for exploring the western side of the Lake District; some walks I did started right out of the door, which I appreciated. My room had everything I needed, and even though it was only a single, it was ideal for me and my dog. The meals are first class and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I’d have no hesitation recommending the hotel and look forward to a return visit. There was nothing I didn’t like.
