The pool was a little bit dirty and had bugs.

The hot water in the shower was very inconsistent, and the sink had no cold water—only hot and really hot. The tap in the sink dripped all night long. The bed sheets were loose and did not stay tucked in.

The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the internet worked well. Reception offered breakfast packs for purchase, and the garage down the road had coffee and sandwiches. The motel sits on a major road heading out of Tamworth, and on the night we stayed it was very noisy, with music and cars coming in and out of the drive all night—sleep was not great.

The room was clean and nicely positioned away from the main road, and the restaurant was convenient, though its menu was very limited; the staff were friendly, especially a young lady named Jess who was helpful and nice. Walking down to the restaurant from our room was somewhat hazardous, bumpy, and uneven, which was tricky for an older person like me. In our room there was an unmarked trip hazard leading from the room into the bathroom; I’d be surprised if someone hadn’t had an accident there before, but it definitely needs attention and a note about the step up.
