There was no regular coffee maker and the capsules were cappuccino, so I had to buy espresso capsules even though I brought ground coffee.

The property was well stocked and comfortable, but we struggled to adjust the shower heat; the park manager had to restart the water heater and we would not have known how to do that, so the shower was the only amenity we couldn't get to work.

The place was fantastic, surrounded by beautiful scenery and a perfect base for exploring the Cairngorms; the kitchen had basic supplies for self‑catering, even dog treats for our cockapoo, which was very thoughtful. We ran into a few teething issues with the oven and hob, but we managed to fix them, and we also got the DVD player working again.
