“Not the best”
Great friendly, helpful staff, fabulous entertainment, nice drinks in bar, nice food, lovely location. The cleanliness wasn't good, outside pool bed mattresses were very stained and dirty as was the patio area surrounding it. Dirty plates, glasses rubbish were left by people who should in an ideal world take it with them, but was left there all day. Room housekeeping wasn't good, nothing replenished when used especially toilet rolls, carpet was never hoovered once throughout our 5 day stay, top of headboard not been dusted in a long time and after hanging the clean towels on rail and putting used wet ones on floor by Bath they were left there. So even if house person mopped floor they would have to mop around them. Breakfast rota was an absolute circus, tables are reserved everyday for people having full board, wasn't told that so naturally sat where it displayed our surname. When the said customers came for their breakfast at 9.20am we were told to move, being led around a large eatery carry hot tea/breakfast in the hopes of restaurant manager finding a table. Finally seated, tables very sticky, my fork had congealed ketchup on it and not a teaspoon in site. So basically tables are reserved for the duration of breakfast while 40 people queue for a table. Could never find a cup, sugar, bread etc as waiters/waitresses are so busy. So busy they don't get time to clear the tables hence the queues outside. Surely get a time off the people who have reservations at breakfast and free up the tables as most reserved were turning up around 9.30am meaning empty tables sitting there for 1.5 hours. Chairs in entertainment lounge need sorting through, maybe throwing out all the ones with the foam bulging out. Left a day early as that was when we were without toilet rolls for 2nd time and only had the dirty wet towels on floor
