We checked in early without extra fees and the room was clean. I couldn’t pay by card because the terminal didn’t work, which feels like a basic service. Communication before check‑in was a bit confusing but not critical. There was no early breakfast, which is just a wish; a mountain trip usually starts early.

The location is great. The room was stuffy and we had trouble checking in and with food. Booking listed the address as Данила Галицього 175, but the manager booked us in a different building a few kilometres away. Eventually we were moved to the correct address. The keys we got were for a room that hadn’t been cleaned by previous guests. After contacting management we received a new key and the room was cleaned, but a strong sewage smell on the 4th floor persisted for the first two days and the windows barely closed. During check‑in we were told the café schedules only apply to guests who buy their local tours; we were expected to order on our own at any time, yet every order was problematic (the plain potato with a side of bacon). On the first day they said it was already late (19.40 – that’s when we arrived) and we accepted it. On the second day we were told to place orders a few hours before visiting the café, and on the third day we were told orders were only accepted until 15.00 (we arrived at 15.20). It’s likely we didn’t fit into their system, which is geared toward regional tour guests with a set menu; we were on our own car and doing our own leisure. Overall the location is convenient with great views, ideal for those heading up to Говерла, but keep the above issues in mind so you’re not caught in their setup.

The room was warm and comfortable. The shower was shared by two rooms, but we had no neighbours so we used it whenever we wanted. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly. Everything was perfect.
