The location on the airport road was convenient. However, the hygiene and comfort were deplorable and the experience terrible. The hygiene was clearly insufficient in both the room and the shared bathrooms. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—a spring frame with almost no mattress—making it hard to sleep. The shared bathroom and toilet were a very bad surprise, especially since we had booked a private room and this wasn’t clearly stated. For us, that was the final straw. Breakfast offered only coffee or tea, so we chose not to eat there. The sound insulation was almost non‑existent; a family in the adjacent room was praying loudly and we could hear it as if it were in our own room.

I think the place offered good value for the price.
The breakfast was nice and the kitchen set‑up was well organised. I left a pair of shoes behind, and the staff did their best to help me retrieve them.
The location was convenient for Athy town, but the mattress felt very uneven, the breakfast dishes were dirty, and the kitchen lacked washing‑up liquid.
