Good value for money and a solid location. The air‑conditioning in the lounge and common area was really excessive.

I booked a double room expecting a double bed, but the room looked more like a corridor with two single beds facing each other, so narrow that my husband could touch the walls with his arms outstretched. One bed even had a book under a foot to get the right height. There was no air‑conditioning, just a noisy fan, and it was 36°C in Avignon; with a fan in less than 10 m² we couldn't sleep and the fan noise made it hard. The room was less than 10 m². It was the Avignon festival so prices were higher, but I never imagined it would be so basic. I’m extremely disappointed that Booking didn’t verify the rooms. I paid the same price shown in the photo for a double bed (which I thought I had booked) and ended up with a corridor room with two single beds and a fan for €150. I’m requesting a partial refund for our two nights. I use your services often; this is the first time I’ve been so disappointed with Booking. If the information isn’t accurate at booking, I can’t trust it. Thank you for responding.

The host was very kind, letting us in early to drop off our bags. The kitchen was fully equipped with tea, coffee, and a washing machine. It’s not far from the city centre. We didn’t realize that the Superior Room shared a bathroom, but we were the only ones using it, so it didn’t bother us much. The ceilings in our room and bathroom were very low—only 175 cm—making it hard to shower and move around.

Ants on the floor—luckily I had Marseille spray to get rid of them—, the washing machine contained other people’s laundry, and the top sheets were missing. Towels were insufficient (one per person) and low quality. I had requested and paid for three double rooms, but one arrived as a single and the double had two separate beds. The double room and bathroom were uninhabitable because they were too low. The house was on a busy street, so traffic made it impossible to sleep. The bathrooms had no windows and no exhaust fan. The host was very rude when I mentioned the ants. Long story, but I strongly advise against staying here.
