I was thrilled to find the place right on Ocean Road, just a short walk from the beach, and the double room was spacious with nice little touches; the breakfast was great and the owners were very helpful and accommodating.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful; all the facilities were good and the location made it easy to explore South Shields, which I was surprised to discover was a pretty and well-served seaside town.
