Palazzo Vallebona sits on Gallipoli’s main street, just 80 m from the train station. Its spacious, air‑conditioned rooms feature antique décor, sea views, balconies, flat‑screen TVs, fridges, and private bathrooms with bathrobes and toiletries. A sweet‑savory breakfast buffet, shared lounge, terrace, and proximity to Baia Verde beach (10‑minute drive) complete the experience.

The room was beautifully decorated with character, just like the pictures, spacious and quiet with a fantastic shower. The hosts communicated well about how to get to the location and where to park our rental car. Check‑in was super easy and the breakfast that morning was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more. We just didn’t stay long enough :-), Gallipoli has so much to see we wish we had stayed for two nights.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location is great. The room was small and not clean; I had to carry my bags up flights of stairs. The beds were hard, the room felt tired, and the shower leaked.

We stayed in the tower room, originally meant for four, but we gifted ourselves this unforgettable experience for two. Climbing the steps to the terrace was adventurous, the view over the city and sea was simply beautiful, the air‑conditioning worked, and the breakfast (with eggs) was great—all there. The Vallebonas family, who honor this historic palazzo, were wonderful. Wonderful 👍

The room was comfortable and well equipped in a renovated palace, with a pleasant setting for those who appreciate the old style, and the owner’s welcome was very good; the station parking was free. The only downside was the air‑conditioner noise at night.
