“Beautiful and Clean”

This place was super cute and in the perfect spot! After a day exploring Camp Verde and Jerome, it was great to return and relax. The next morning we hiked the Iron King Trail, then hit the road for our next adventure. It was the perfect little stop along the way, and we really enjoyed our stay!

“I wanted to love this place as we visit Chino Valley often, but it's not to be.”

The location was convenient. The property was beautiful. The room was large and decorated beautifully. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was nice, although we really didn't use it as much as we expected. The bathroom was small, but adequate. Even though there were many issues, the manager was friendly and helpful. When we first arrived in the room, there was an influx of ants. We reported it to the manager who reported that the exterminator had just been there that afternoon. The manager took care of most of the ants and sprayed the area. The a/c also felt warm, but we didn't think much of it since it hadn't been on very long and was set a little higher than we like. Day 2.there were still many ants, but again, the manager took care of most of them. That night, the a/c didn't seem to be running, and it was quite warm, but we thought it might be due to the high humidity. There were also dozens of dead roaches on the patio (the manager swept them off). Day 3.we saw a few ants here and there, but nothing we couldn't handle ourselves. The a/c was still not performing as it should, but again, we thought it might be something we were doing wrong. Day 4.We determined that the a/c was definitely not working, and couldn't go another night without it. We reported it to the manager, who fixed it during the day while we were gone. The a/c was fixed and working as it should and continued to work for the remainder of our stay. The website states that we would receive 2 bottles of water and popcorn, which we did not. The website also states there would be daily housekeeping, but there wasn't. The manager took out the trash once, and replaced our towels twice. There were also no facial tissues until the 4th day, and there were only 5 or 6 tissues left in the box. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, but since we brought personal wipes, the 1 roll was just enough. The small bottles of shampoo and shower wash only lasted 2 days. There were "leftover" bottles from previous guests in a drawer in the bathroom. This review would have been upgraded if the manager or owner would have offered to compensate us for a night or two for no a/c and the ants, but I received no response to my request

“i was there to enjoy friends at their place, only used the hotel to sleep, it was fine...!”

There were scouter ants I killed off, but I’m not complaining about them.
