The B&B sits right in the heart of the old town inside a historic building that exudes charm and authenticity. The room is huge, with a jacuzzi (tested!) in the corner, and a massive terrace offering a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea. Breakfast is taken outside at the city’s most renowned ice‑cream shop, just a 3‑minute walk from the B&B. The place is quiet and relaxing, with air‑conditioning. The downside is the many stairs to reach the B&B and even more to get to the floor—part of the charm, but worth mentioning for older guests or those with mobility issues.

We stayed at this B&B in the heart of Cariati’s historic village and the experience was truly enjoyable. The location is perfect for immersing yourself in the historic center’s atmosphere, with its characteristic alleys and stunning views, and the sea is just a few minutes away. The property is welcoming, clean, and well‑kept. It’s an ideal spot for anyone wanting to spend a few days relaxing and discovering one of Calabria’s most beautiful villages. I highly recommend it and would gladly return. A special thank you to the owner, Francesco, who is truly exceptional: always kind, helpful, and attentive to guests’ needs. His hospitality made the stay even better. We’ll definitely come back.

Everything was great, from the room to the location, but especially the kindness and availability of the manager/owner Francesco and his mother, not forgetting Elena. Nothing to add.

The location isn’t ideal for getting to the beach, but it’s nice because it’s in the historic center. Breakfast is not up to par; you can’t expect just coffee and the usual croissants every morning. It needs better organization inside the building with a spot for salty items and fresh fruit. The lounge chairs on the terrace are all sagging and unusable… a shame because the location could be really beautiful.
