Good location—right next to the beach. Clean and fresh paint everywhere. It’s hard to keep everything clean and not rusty in the FL weather—but, this hotel did a great job. Very difficult to find the office at “1915” when the hotel is listed as “1900” ! Uber goes to the address listed and the name on the office is NOT the same as the hotel listing . HOLLYWOOD BEACH HOTELS manages all the smaller hotels and Sunset Coast was VERY difficult to find

We were initially promised a certain room, but it was still under construction, so we were upgraded to the ocean sound room at the last minute, which turned out to be a lovely surprise. I was really pleased with the change, and it ended up being a great experience.

I found that the hotel's location was incredibly convenient, with many attractions and amenities within walking distance. However, I did notice that the area near the A1A highway could get a bit noisy, which might be a drawback for some guests. Despite this, I was able to get a good night's sleep and enjoy the hotel's proximity to local hotspots. Overall, it was a great base for exploring the area.

I was really looking forward to leaving, and I ended up checking out hours early. Unfortunately, my stay was marred by some significant issues, including mold in the bathrooms, rusty and dirty kitchen appliances, and old, thin bath towels. The floors were also cracked and had holes, and the noise from outside was relentless, making it impossible for me to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, the plug-in air freshener was overpowering, which only added to my disappointment.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and while it had its share of flaws, the overall experience was still quite satisfying. The comfortable bed and breathtaking view more than made up for the initial unpleasant odor of cigarette smoke in my room. However, my expectations were somewhat let down by the limited continental breakfast options, which only included toast, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs, and were served in a cramped area.
