Its location near both Gramado and Canela, combined with the price, makes it a great value.

Don Liliana is very friendly and attentive to guests, it feels like home; the host is very caring, the hostel is very good and comfortable, everything is accessible for a pleasant experience; when you come to Taquara, staying here is definitely worth it. I liked everything, there’s nothing to complain about.
“Coffee available, but no desk”
It’s a hostel, so there’s no breakfast service, but they always have a coffee maker for a quick cup. If you want a fuller breakfast you can bring your own food and use the shared kitchen, which is stocked with all the utensils you’ll need. The only thing I wish they’d add is a small desk in the room for working on a laptop.
“Friendly staff and spotless rooms”
The staff greeted us warmly and were always ready to help, and the whole place stayed spotless and well‑organized throughout our stay.
“Smart TV and handy outlet”
The room came with a smart TV and a power socket right next to the bed, which was really handy. The TV worked fine and there wasn’t anything else that bothered me.
“Soft bed, but terrible host and false promises”
The bed was soft and comfortable, but the rest of the stay was a disaster. From the first email the host was rude and sarcastic, and the early‑check‑in fee kept changing – one day it was 50 BRL for two hours early, another day 50 BRL per hour. I paid the charge, yet she kept calling me rushed and stressed even though I stayed polite.
