I met friendly people and the scenery made it a great spot to stay, and honestly there’s nothing I don’t like about it.
The room was clean and comfortable with hot water, but it was a bit far from the center, the welcome left us feeling like a nuisance, and other local guests made it unclear who was in charge.
The staff were very kind, the dinner was excellent with kottu and chicken, the building was clean and hot water was available, but the location isn’t really close to the center even though booking says 600 metres away; it takes 50 minutes to reach Victoria Garden and a bit longer for Gregory Lake.
