Very comfortable and roomy, with lots of little extras, only 5mins from town centre but still very quiet, and the parking was secure; nothing to complain about, it was great.

The reception was very warm, the room was beautifully decorated, the bedding was excellent, it was a calm and restful spot yet close to the sights, a truly beautiful stop.

It was clean, but the room smelled like old damp, unclean spaces; the shower was worthless and clearly needed replacing, though the bathroom itself was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very poor: stale baguette and reheated croissants, with only jam for spread. For an egg (€2) and a cheese omelette (€6) you had to pay extra. Everything seemed aimed at making money with minimal effort.

Isabelle was very friendly and discreet, the bathroom was clean and the bedroom comfortable, it’s a good 6‑minute bike ride from the city centre, and the breakfast was fine; nothing else to note.
