The view from my room was simply breathtaking

“Mitigé”
The 180° view over Cuenca is beautiful, but the accommodation is very off‑center and the winding street to get up is inconvenient for round‑trips to the city center, and it’s still noisy. The jacuzzi and sauna with city view are great 👌. However, there was no heating at all even in September, we were clearly cold and the bathroom water was never really hot… so again for September it’s not great. The breakfasts don’t look great, so we didn’t try them.
“Nice hotel, bad service.”
The location near the Turi viewpoint and the view are positives, but the service was problematic: 1) Cleaning and preparing the Jacuzzi after we checked in took time; 2) They promised free drinks by the fire in the evening, but later said they didn’t have any; 3) Breakfast was offered at a certain hour and we received it an hour late, with a different sandwich than we requested; 4) Two hours before check‑in they texted us to confirm the reservation, saying it was not confirmed and that they needed to check, even though it was shown as confirmed in the booking; 5) They took a long time to answer our email questions; 6) When we arrived, it took about 10 minutes for them to open the door for us – there was only a simple ring with no communication, so we didn’t know if someone was at the hotel to open it.
The location, comfort, design and facilities were excellent. However, poor staff communication forced me to alter my planned marriage proposal there, and the extra fee for using the lookout felt excessive and wasn’t communicated until a day before.
Everything was fine, except the benches in the dining area.

The jacuzzi was great, but they didn’t offer Caledonia.
