I’m back for a second visit, and the hosts kindly gave me the room I asked for. The place is always clean and the bed is really comfy. The coffee machine, however, is a bit of a hassle.

The whole place is spotless, well maintained and modern. Lady, one of the owners, was polite and helpful. My partner uses a wheelchair, a sturdy one, yet even though the hotel proudly calls itself “wheelchair friendly and accessible,” that’s simply not true. A regular‑sized active wheelchair couldn’t even get into the bathroom entrance. We checked every room; I guess it’s a design flaw. That’s fine as long as you don’t expect true accessibility. Crawling to the bathroom to use the toilet or sink? That doesn’t feel like a comfortable way to enjoy a vacation.

“Really good, would definitely recommend. A gem of a find for the price.”

The room was a really nice little space. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was a bit tired but had good water pressure and temperature. Everything was clean. It was really quiet (except for the bin men outside at 5am, but that can’t be helped). Communication about door codes and everything else was excellent. Plenty of parking out front. I felt very safe and secure. The water left in the fridge and the little cakes were a nice touch. The location was perfect for us, but we had a hire car, which I’d say is a necessity if you’re staying there. If I had to be picky, I’d prefer a kettle instead of a coffee pod machine. My husband thought the fridge in the room was a bit noisy, but it didn’t disturb me.
