The residence is gorgeous, the staff are welcoming and caring, and you can swim whenever you want, just keep the noise down at night, that’s great. The room wasn’t air‑conditioned and we saw two cockroaches. Also, there’s no dining service in the off‑season and all nearby restaurants were closed, so you have to head onto the main road to find food. Not knowing the area, we didn’t want to risk searching in the dark. Luckily the driver who dropped us off connected us with a very helpful local driver who took us to dinner. Despite those inconveniences, the setting remains beautiful and very soothing, not to mention the kindness and warmth of the staff. Special shout‑out to the breakfast with unlimited artisanal Casamance jams (mango, guava, banana…), it was a real treat!

The pool, the accommodation, the quiet, the kitchen and the breakfast are great. The main door is locked at night and you have to wake the night guard every time you want to go in or out.
