The place is wonderfully located just one minute from Reggio Calabria Centrale, with nice shops, cafés and restaurants nearby; the balcony is well furnished and offers a view of the sea and Etna, and the owner was incredibly pleasant, giving us useful tips and a discount at the best pizzeria in town—Reggio Calabria is a very nice city! The room was bright and cozy, and the good doors made the night completely quiet for a good sleep. The stairwell was bright and pleasant with flowers and paintings. The kettle would have been a nice addition, but the corner café was always open.

The owner was very helpful in sorting out the arrival timing issues, even though the schedule wasn’t ideal.

The spot is fantastic, the Italian balcony feels charming and the room was spotless.

The place is in a superb spot, the owner is wonderful, and the area has good public transport, supermarkets and restaurants. The only downside is the stairs—no elevator—so it’s best if you don’t have heavy bags.
