The staff were all lovely, the place felt quaint and picturesque, the house cats everywhere were a delight, breakfasts and dinners were good, and the pool was nice, but the only downside was that our room was very noisy—Estate house 5 sits right by the driveway and reception, so it’s loud. There’s nothing they can do about that, so I’d avoid that room next time, otherwise I’d stay there again and again.

The atmosphere is beautiful and extraordinary, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is great, but the rooms are in older buildings with a lot of charm yet less comfort.

Just steps from the airport and Pentai Cenang beach while hidden in a green oasis, we loved the garden’s beauty, the charm of our Malaysian house (Negri), the quality of the food, and the staff’s kindness; it’s a shame it’s so far away, because we’d come back gladly.

The setting was beautiful, an old heritage home paired with a modern restaurant, and the staff were wonderful, especially Miss K. A small miscommunication on arrival was quickly resolved and handled perfectly.
