“All met with our expectations”
The staff were excellent and the location was great. The bed was a small double, which felt a little too small.

The building was lovely and the bedroom was excellent. The young staff were very pleasant and hardworking. The location, next to Virginia Water and close to Windsor, was great. There was a small issue with the non‑payment for an evening meal, which required late‑night phone calls about it; luckily my phone was on silent by then, so it didn’t disturb me. A clearer procedure to ensure payment at the end of the meal would be better.

Being close to Great Windsor Park was a plus.

The vibe was great, feeling like an English country inn. Plenty of parking, and we could enjoy Guinness and play cards in the bar. It felt very upscale, yet the price was very reasonable. There were many stairs to climb, so it wouldn’t suit guests with a lot of heavy luggage.

The location next to the park and lake was convenient, especially for students at Royal Holloway University. The decor was nice and the back outdoor area was appealing. If people didn’t pull the doors properly, the hinges would slam and shake the hotel; the banging went on all day and even at 2:30 am.
