The flat looked exactly like the pictures and came with all the usual appliances, which was a plus. Being just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre meant we never had to touch the car, and even though the street parking costs extra, the staff handed us a ticket so we didn’t worry about it. The only thing to note is that the apartment sits on the fifth floor of a building with no lift – fine for us, but future guests should know.

Staff were friendly and the bed felt like a cloud, so sleeping was a breeze. Everything else checked out, so there really wasn’t anything to complain about.

We chose the hotel because the online photos and reviews looked promising, and the price and location seemed decent, with staff being fairly courteous. Unfortunately, the room we got was a twin setup we hadn’t asked for, and the bed was covered in hair and lint, with stray strands on the floor as well. The bathroom had no door, so water sprayed everywhere, and one morning the omelette we were served had a hair in it – we didn’t even feel like taking a picture.

Nothing good to report – the front desk was empty, the TV remote, internet and heating all failed, and after waiting an hour the manager said he’d sort it out but never returned. We spent the night shivering with no heat, and breakfast the next morning was a disaster: no fruit, no vegetables, no tea, and the coffee water was cold. Paying 60 € for this experience felt like throwing money out the window.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast tasted good, but the room itself left a lot to be desired – dust and long hair were everywhere, the blinds were broken letting in street light, and the shower never drained, flooding the bathroom each time. On top of that, the hair dryer didn’t work, the paid parking was buried under a heap of snow, and the ski lifts were a good distance away, which was our own oversight.
